This design is clearly inspired by the iconic Bauhaus lamp from 1924, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Carl Jacob Jucker at the Bauhaus Institute in Weimar. Their revolutionary combination of glass, metal and opal glass symbolized the modernist vision of functional and timeless design — a legacy that also resonates in these Metalarte lamps.
