Iconic “Brumbry” table lamp, designed by Luigi Massoni for Harvey Guzzini in 1969 - one of the most recognisable Italian space age lamps of the late 1960s. Although commonly known as “Brumbury”, the official model name is “Brumbry”.
The lamp features a chromed and white lacquered metal base with a white acrylic shade, finished with a chrome ring that emphasises its clean, graphic silhouette.
Inside are four E14 sockets: one directly under the shade and three positioned in the base. The original black-and-white switch (typical of early production years) allows separate or combined operation of the top bulb and three side bulbs.
This is an early version of the Brumbry, identifiable by its characteristic black-and-white switch used only in the first production years.
Condition
Very good vintage condition - fully cleaned and chrome repolished, with minimal age-appropriate wear. Acrylic shade and base are neat. Wiring up to switch renewed; from switch to lamp base still original wiring. Upper part may flicker if the cord is touched, but burns steadily during normal use.
