Rare glass bowl from the 1960s by Fontana Arte, titled “Vide Poche” (French for “pocket emptier”), designed by Max Ingrand. This sculptural object is crafted from thick, clear crystal glass with a subtle aqua hue. Four concave lens-like indentations across the surface create mesmerizing reflections and refractions of light.
Originally intended as a tray for small items like keys or coins, it also works beautifully as a decorative centrepiece or paperweight. The edge is faceted, and the underside features a mirrored layer with some imperfections along the edge. The glass itself is flawless.
A refined example of high-end Italian design from the 1960s.
