Design M “Light Pole” Floor Lamp – Ingo Maurer (1967)

Rare early edition of the “Light Pole” floor lamp, designed by Ingo Maurer in 1967 for his own label Design M. This design is part of Maurer's very first collection and is considered an important piece within the canon of German minimalist design.

The lamp is made of fully chromed metal and consists of a cylindrical base, an adjustable vertical axis and a rotating reflector head. The height is adjustable from 121 to 171 cm and the light can be directed precisely thanks to the tiltable fixture. The combination of sleek lines, high-quality materials and functional flexibility make this lamp a popular object among design enthusiasts.
