Rare Artemide “Megaron” floor lamp in metallic silver color, designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1979. This minimalist design classic is made of extruded aluminum with a slim, vertical shape consisting of two half profiles, separated by a narrow opening of approximately 1 cm. The lamp radiates power and elegance and fits perfectly in both modern and industrial interiors.
The Megaron is equipped with an integrated dimmer with sliding potentiometer, discreetly built into the aluminium profile halfway up. The uplighter spreads a powerful but atmospheric light via a 300W halogen rod. In 1981, this lamp was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
